JUNCO
Junco, also called soft rush, is a tall plant with smooth, long, flexible stems. It grows in abundance in wetland habitats and is commonly used in Portugal for weaving baskets.
The junco we use is in its natural, dried state, without the addition of finishes. This maintains the natural beauty and tactility of the material. The junco tends to develop a beautiful patina of subtle sheen over time.
