Radiologische Praxis Philip G. Petry is a radiology practice located in Viernheim, near Mannheim, Germany. Interior architect, Mathias Reuter of Reuter + Schmidt, created a relaxed atmosphere that exudes inner peace for a positive, calming affect on the patients. Reuter explains the approach thus, "Our aim was to create rooms which are like good friends, full of life - organic, and real." Honest materials including timber, stone and concrete are softened by largely monochrome textiles and the occasional burst of colour. Abundant natural light floods the space. Orson Desk, Fin Dining Chair, Low Lounge Chair and Different Trains cabinet by Matthew Hilton are among the carefully selected pieces of furniture.
