Sparrows on Aerials has an illustrative feel and humorous narrative enhanced by the inherent imperfections of hand embroidery. Charlene Mullen was inspired by the way birds adopt aerials as their trees and she imagined them having conversations. This playful cushion references both life and cartoons while belonging firmly in the grown-up home. The cushion is feather-filled and finished with a red zip as a surprise.
